MW3's release date is November 10, 2023, as confirmed by the official Call of Duty Twitter account. A brand-new way to play the single-player campaign is included in Modern Warfare 3. It consists of a new type of campaign wherein Task Force 141 battles the iconic Call of Duty antagonist Makarov.
Given that players reported missing content across MW2, Warzone, and MW3, the issue was seemingly one that impacted Call of Duty’s active titles.. The anticipation for the Modern Warfare 3 campaign seems to have made matters worse amongst the community, as players voiced their frustration with launch day issues: “Game really goes down on the day of campaign release, I hope this isn’t Highrise is the 10th mission of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign. The mission features Gaz and Captain Price assaulting a Konni safehouse in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Players will start on the bottom floor and will have to make their way to the rooftop to capture a special target.
During the MW3 marketing push, Activision teased Open Combat Missions as an exciting new feature. The idea was that semi-open world missions gave players the freedom to try out new ways to play, with killstreaks (or Armaments) to find, and freely customizable loadouts to offer replay value. Unfortunately, the reality is far more disappointing.
