Truck wont get up to speed. I have the Locitech G29 Driving Force wheel with the gearshifter. I setup using the wizard with the H-pattern 10 speed splitter mode. I have no problem shifting through all the gears, but no matter what rig I choose, I cant get my speed over 27 mph.
My PC tells me that the Thrustmaster steering wheel and pedal set is operating normally. I've even re-downloaded the drivers and the ATS/ETS2 games but still nothing. In the Controller Wizard all my controllers (keyboard, steering wheel/pedals and gear shifter) are recognised. The keyboard works fine. The buttons on the steering wheel work fine.
I'm playing ETS2 and everything is fine until out of nowhere (with no setting changes) my truck starts to accelerate by itself. So far to get rid of this problem I've tried: - Unplugging the controller (still accelerates with no controller plugged in) If it matters, I'm using a dualshock 4 controller. Never had this issue in the past.

Usually I remove parking brake and hold my brake pedal, I build the Revs before pressing clutch and change gear to 1 while I still have my brake on then release gently the brakes while you accelerate. (YES CLUTCHING AND BRAKING AND ACCELERATING in a 1-2 seconds, with 2 feet) I have success 3/5.. so hard to get it right.

..to holding clutch and gas while changing gears? I know the truck won't accelerate while the clutch is being held down, but is there any negative to letting go of acceleration during this process? Say, I'm on the highway and I decide to change gear, I don't see any negatives to just not letting go of throttle, then holding down the clutch, changing gears, letting go of the clutch all while l88Gw.
